Build something from a sentence
Describe a site, a script, or a tool. The agent writes it, runs it, and shows you. Test an idea on the train.
Your phone is already a computer. Let an AI use it.
Ask in plain English and an AI agent gets it done. It builds, fixes, organizes, and tests your ideas inside a real Linux system on your phone. Power user? Open the terminal and take the wheel.
One app. Nothing else to install. Android 8 or later.
Say what you want in your own words. Attach a photo or a document if it helps. No commands to learn.
The agent writes code, runs it, installs what it needs, and fixes its own mistakes. All of it happens in a Linux system that lives on your phone, and you can see every step.
Prefer to drive? Open the terminal. Same files, same tools, no limits. It is your pocket PC.
You already paid for all those cores and all that RAM. Might as well use all of it.
Phones are pocket PCs. Most days yours spends its power scrolling. Jasiri gives it a job.
Jasiri is an agent with a computer of its own. These all work in the current version.
Describe a site, a script, or a tool. The agent writes it, runs it, and shows you. Test an idea on the train.
Snap a receipt, a form, or a whiteboard. Get a spreadsheet or tidy notes back. Needs an AI model that can see images.
Every conversation gets its own folder that you can open, edit, and keep. Delete the chat and the folder goes with it.
Practice Linux, Git, Python, or shell scripting on a real system, from your pocket, on a break.
The agent can read what you copied and put its answer back, so it works with the apps you already use.
Install the SSH server and the same system is one command away from any computer on your network.
Plugins are one-tap setups that teach Jasiri a new trick. Search every photo and video you have by describing it. Shrink big videos without losing quality. Keep notes the agent can read. Back everything up.
Photos, videos, and documents get transcribed and indexed, so you can search them the way you would ask a friend.
Whiteboard photos and lecture recordings sorted by course. Project media grouped by project. Always searchable.
Free up space without an SD card or a bigger cloud plan.

Jasiri is not on Google Play yet. For now you install it directly, the way you would any app from outside the store.
Tap the button below on your phone. The file is about 55 MB.
Open the file. Android asks if your browser may install apps. Say yes. That is a one-time prompt.
Open Jasiri, paste a key from OpenRouter, OpenAI, or a compatible service, and ask for something. A short one-time setup builds the Linux system on first launch.
https://jasiri-dl.benlester.me/jasiri-sideload.apkNothing to sign up for. Install it and go.
No ads, no analytics, no data brokers. Your prompts never come to us.
The Linux system and your project folders live on the device.
Messages go to the provider you choose, using your own key. Read the full policy.
Yes. Jasiri is free for individuals, including for your own professional work. Teams and companies need a license. Get in touch and we will sort it out.
Yes, you bring your own key from OpenRouter, OpenAI, or any compatible service. Jasiri does not resell AI. You pay your provider directly and you choose the model.
Android 8.0 or later with a 64-bit processor. Recent phones feel best, especially for bigger jobs.
Not yet. That is the goal. Until then you install it directly from this site, and it checks for updates when you open it.
The Linux system and your files work without a connection. The agent needs to reach your AI provider. Running AI models on the phone itself is planned as a plugin.
It works inside Jasiri's own space on your phone: the project folders and the Linux system. It cannot see your photos, contacts, or other apps. It can read and write the clipboard when it needs to. Because it can run commands and change files in its space, read what you ask it to do.
Your messages and any attachments go to the AI provider you picked, under that provider's terms. We run no servers that see your prompts or files. The privacy page has the details.
Please do. Email contact@benlester.me. Soon you will be able to describe what you want from inside the app.
Jasiri took a lot of problems that do not show on a screenshot. A few of them:
I am a software and systems engineer who turns unclear requirements into shipped, production-ready products. If you need an Android app, a backend, or infrastructure built and kept running, I would like to hear about it.
